D. B. ROCKWELL 1842-1924
David B. Rockwell, born in Maine, was the owner of various businesses in Boston as well as a self-taught violin maker. He worked in several different locations in Boston, and frequently moved his work to other cities including Hartford, Detroit, Chicago, and San Francisco. He thrived as a violin maker for many years in New York before returning to Boston.
